MAXIMA LOGISTIK SUMMED UP THE RESULTS OF WORK FOR THE 1ST QUARTER OF 2013

According to the results of the 1st quarter of 2013, the number of freight cars under the management of Maxima-Logistics LLC exceeded 2,300 cars. Over the past 12 months, the fleet of Maxima Logistics universal platforms has grown more than 4 times.

Currently, our company occupies a confident 3rd place among all universal platform operators in Russia and the CIS in terms of the number of its fleet and the number of regular customers. The main contribution to the increase in the Maxima Logistics fleet was made by the TopLine company, from which Maxima Logistics leases more than 30% of its fleet of universal platforms.

Thanks to the efforts of the commercial department, strategically important contracts were concluded with such large shippers as: Penzkhimmash, KTZ Promtractor-Wagon, Kurgankhimmash, Uralavtopricep and many others. The first quarter of 2013 was marked by a sharp strengthening of the positions of our group of companies in the field of container transportation.

In addition to launching container terminals, we managed to increase our fleet of long-base container platforms by 4 (!) times. So, if in the 4th quarter of 2012 Maxima Logistics managed an average of 100 platforms, then by the end of the first quarter of 2013 Maxima Logistics had already operated 400 wagons.  The indicators of loading and cargo turnover of container cargo increased at the same rate.

The company has become a participant in the market of multimodal container transportation and forwarding services. By the end of this year, we set ourselves the task of increasing our share in this market by at least 2 times. Along with the active growth of rolling stock, the geography of the company's activities is also expanding. Maxima Logistics already carries out transportation not only in Russia, but also to the CIS countries – Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, etc. In addition, branches in Vladivostok, Chelyabinsk and Perm are actively developing.

So, by the end of the year, the fleet of universal platforms will exceed 2,300 units, and the fleet of container platforms will approach 1,000 units. In total, up to 3,000 units of rolling stock will be under the management of Maxima Logistics.

Thus, by the end of the year, the fleet managed by Maxim Logistics will double, providing all the opportunities for a corresponding growth of the customer base and cargo turnover.
