The next stage of reconstruction has been completed at the container terminal of Betta LLC in Perm. Over the past three months, a complete redevelopment of the site has been carried out with the formation of a multilayer crushed stone coating.
The requirements for the hard surface of the terminal were formed taking into account large weight loads, as well as taking into account the requirements for the operation of the own loading and unloading equipment used at the Terminal, the FERRARI reachstacker.
Airfield slabs were laid on the prepared crushed stone surface. It was the airfield concrete pavement that was chosen because of its high technical and operational qualities. Meanwhile, during the reconstruction, the Terminal continues to operate, providing full service to the container depot.
With the increase in the turnover of loaded containers at the terminal and the provision of services for their storage, round-the-clock security has been organized, a video surveillance system has been put into operation around the perimeter of the territory, construction of an asphalt road has begun, which will have direct access to Dokuchaeva Street and will significantly increase the capacity of the terminal.
The current modernization of the site will also increase the volume of services provided, so in the third quarter of 2013, the terminal is scheduled to:
• Container handling - 900 TEUs
• Acceptance/dispatch of fitting platforms - 200 units
• Receiving/sending wagons - 150 units
